Key Responsibilities:

Coordination with consultant for the planning of maintenance of Power House Equipment, Utilities and Automobile Machineries.

Supervise and manage vendor engineering and equipment deliverable to ensure compliance with project standards and specifications.

Reviewing and reporting of Project status to higher authorities.

Execution of project engineering involving installation, commissioning and testing of equipment and automobile machinery.

Troubleshoots plant mechanical problems to determine their cause and recommends options for eliminating such problems. Includes carrying out tests on equipment.

Capable of Guiding /leading the mechanical maintenance team and implementing the best maintenance strategy for the plant.

Condition monitoring and predictive maintenance of critical equipments and corrective actions to avoid breakdown.

Planning for recourses and manpower for planned shutdown of the plant and execution including start-up.

Daily power monitoring, calculations and reporting at monthly basis.

Material procurement through SAP and maintaining minimum spares for attending breakdown and reducing breakdown time.

Awareness of Hazardous area classification and selection of mechanical equipment.

Data structuring and analysis, Conducting safety audits within the department and ensuring the compliance from all employees and updating the checklists and audit reports.

Carried out preventive maintenance on DG Sets such as 100 Hrs, 250 Hrs, 500 Hrs, 1500 Hrs, 3000 Hrs, 4500 Hrs and 12000 Hrs (CSI) or periodic servicing on calendar life basis.

Entrusted with the responsibility to carry out adjustments in various mechanical components and modifications etc.

One of the key member during the installation process of Power Plants at Tezpur with OEM.

Provided uninterrupted power supply for the Radar Operation on 24 x 7 basis by running the DG Sets parallel manually as well as automatically to share the load.

Prepared preventive maintenance schedule for DG Sets, Mechanical system of various class and category used in the organization etc.

Carried out Load test after induction of new DG Sets, Major Servicing, Super Major Servicing and CSI (Major overhauling) with resistive load.

Involved in the calibration of testers, meters & gauges from IAF and Civil Calibration Agencies.
