WORK EXPERIENCE AND INDUSTRIAL EXPOSURE:
1. Currently working as project associate in Hindustan Petroleum Green Research & Development Centre in Bangalore, Karnataka (since 28- August-2017).
2. Assisted HP FURNOKARE activity for the online descaling process in the Atmospheric distillation and Vacuum distillation Furnace’s in Mangalore Refinery.
3. Summer Internship was done in Dr. REDDY’S CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES for a period of one month (02-06-2013 to 02-07-2013). ACHIEVEMENTS:
Secured 29th rank in PGCET in Chemical Engineering in 2014.
Secured 914th, 1413th and 1228th rank in GATE in Chemical Engineering in 2018, 2015 and 2016 in respective years.
Received best Project Associate award in the year 2018-2019 for the contribution towards the project HP-FURNOKARE. TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE AND PROJECTS HANDLING:
Synthesis of novel and cost effective Organic thermic fluids and Molten salt based thermic fluids for medium to high temperature concentrated solar applications.
Design and development of novel and cost effective descaling agents for online cleaning of deposits (scales) that formed on high temperature heat transfer surfaces by chemical spraying without shutdown of the unit.
Synthesis and characterization of catalyst to removal of the sulfur from diesel feedstock at high temperature and high pressure reaction conditions.
Critical analysis on the data obtained from various instruments and comparisons with commercial data and make necessary modification to improve the yield of product.
Hands on experience and troubleshooting of high temperature and high pressure High throughput modules, Batch Reactors and Fixed bed Reactors.
Handling, maintenance and troubleshooting of various instruments and pilot plant units
Procurement of new chemicals, maintenance of MSDS for existing chemical inventory.
Proper handling of toxic and hazardous chemicals with appropriate PPE.
Storage of chemicals in appropriate locations and maintaining of separate waste disposal for different kinds of waste.
