ACADEMIC PROJECT

“ENCHANING THE BRAKE EFFECT USING ELECTRIC AND PNEUMATIC BRAKES ON LOCOMOTIVE”– Thescope of the project is to minimize the brake delay time to stop the locomotive .By maximizing the deceleration, stopping distance is minimized. The electro-pneumatic brake was introduced to over come the lag in the operation of the pure air brake, by this braking system and brakes can be applied to the locomotive will stop- completed this as my main project in 8thsemester.

“DESIGN AND FABRICATION OF PUMPING SYSTEM DRIVEN BY A WATER WHEEL”-A Water wheel is a machine for converting the energy of flowing water into useful forms of power often in watermill. This research work performs an analysis, evaluation and systematic representation of techniques of a low head micro hydropower system using a fixed water source and designing of a water wheel for the system. In this system vertical motion is converted into rotatory motion – completed this as mini project in 7th semester.
