• Development of economically attractive processes for the production of solar grade silicon.

• Assessment of market scenario and global scope for silane production.

• Compare and analyze Reactive distillation process with conventional distillation process for silane production.

• Simulation of production of silane for solar cells by Reactive distillation process in Aspen Plus.

• To find optimal operating conditions for production of silane by simulation in Aspen Plus. Production of Monosodium glutamate (MSG) by fermentation process September 2017 – December 2017

• To design a plant with production capacity of 5 tonnes/day of Monosodium Glutamate (MSG) to address it's rising demand in the food industry in India and worldwide.

• To perform a detailed analysis of the manufacturing process as well as conduct thermodynamic feasibility, perform Material and Energy balances.

• To simulate the entire process and plant operations using Aspen Plus.

• To develop a suitable plant layout and select a location based on the constraints available.
