WORK HISTORY
Little Caesars, Roanoke, VA, IT Admin, (11/2016) - (06/2019) I was responsible for all network operations for 21 locations as well as the local central office. This includes security camera operations and POS operations. I also did internal audits to monitor and find solutions to any financial losses in the field. In addition to that, I did help with HR and Payroll (QuickBooks) that was done in house. Company started to downsize, and I had developed a very good automated system to allow me to give notice to leave and look for the next long-term opportunity either in the restaurant or IT industry. The WayBack, Roanoke, VA Owner (12/2015) – (11/2016) Had an opportunity to open a restaurant in downtown Roanoke. Did not have enough capital to keep it open more than a year. Learned a lot of great things from this experience. So on a personal level, not a loss. Little Caesars, Roanoke, VA, Area Director, (05/2008) - (11/2015) I left Pizza Hut to take a position as an Area Director. I received multiple pay increases based on performance during this time. These increases are based on staffing, sales increase, profits and overall operation improvements in 9 locations. I was very involved and was a leader in marketing ideas. I was also Admin for store networking and other technologies, video security systems, loss prevention, training and overall operations and training. Left for an entrepreneurial opportunity.
Pizza Hut, Roanoke, VA, Area Director, (07/1996) - (04/2008) I was hired in December 1996 as a Restaurant Operations Manager. After completing my training, I was promoted to Restaurant General Manager (RGM) in June 1997. After holding this position for about 5 months, I was transferred to a ‘problem’ store in Daleville, VA. As the RGM of this location, I successfully operated this unit for 6 years. At a rolling 13 periods, the store was running 6%-10% profit and sales growth. I was consistently in the top 5 out of 238 in the running for Manager Of The Year, and had been chosen for ‘Round Table’ meetings, which is where 5 select managers nationally are picked to give input on operation issues, and suggestions to make operations better.
Little Caesars, Roanoke, VA Area Director, (11/1991) – (06/1996) I started as a Co-Manager for Little Caesars in 1991. In three months, I was the General Manager of the Madison Heights, Virginia location. My job there was to pull the store back together, (sales, costs, cleanliness etc...). I accomplished this within the first three months. After being the manager for one year, I was promoted to Area Supervisor for the Lynchburg area. I was very successful with this position for 2 years. During that time, I worked with 2 franchisees roll out the ‘Italian Kitchen’ concept for Little Caesars nationally, and then I opened and successfully operated 2 of them locally. Unfortunately, in 1996, the local franchise was sold, and as a company, they became financially unstable. There are only 2 out of the original 11 locations still operating in the Roanoke market.
Domino’s Pizza, Staunton, VA General Manger, (6/1986) – (10/1991) I was originally hired as a part-time driver for Domino's Pizza. After becoming a full-time employee in about 3 months, I decided to start management training. I became a Co-Manager in 1986, (3 months after training began). In 1987, I was promoted to Store Manager of the Staunton, Virginia unit. In my third month there, we achieved 2 record weeks of sales (it had been 2 years since the prior record). Sales consistently increased @ 10% over prior year. The local ADA was sold in 1991 and the new owner brought in his own management team for all locations. IT EXPERIENCE
