To whomever it may concern,
I wanted to personally reach out to inquire about the scheduling coordinator role at Dome productions.
I just graduated from the College of Sports Media here in downtown Toronto and am currently completing my required internship hours at the Marilyn Denis Show. I have obtained a Diploma in Radio and Television Sports Broadcasting. In this program we were sufficiently trained in many different aspects of the broadcasting business such as Radio/TV production, editing, writing and producing for different mediums including social media and online formats. I have also been involved since September 2018 with The University of Toronto Varsity Blues Athletics programs in the broadcasting of their Football and Hockey Teams via digital forums. Last year I also got the opportunity to work with George Brown College as a part of their broadcasting team for multiple basketball games.
I have a passion for Sports, Fashion and lifestyle that began when I was a little girl. I moved out to Toronto in September 2017 to pursue that passion on a professional basis. During my time at the College of Sports Media I was able to hone my skills in all aspects of producing arable content for Digital consumption. I also enjoyed learning what it takes to write compelling and innovative articles for today’s changing media landscape. I have also fallen in love with the city of Toronto and everything about it. I have been able to hone my skills at the Marilyn Denis show in a coordinator role liasing with the production/talent and audience coordinators. I have learnt many valuable skills in this position that are only going to add to my organizational/attention to detail skills I already had, moving forward. I was also able to assist the production coordinators at CTV’s upfront presentation this past June. This included wrangling talent, cash reconciliation and organizing materials with suppliers. I have also worked in a scheduling role at a fitness studio as well as a physiotherapy office so I have experience in managing not only team members but clients as well spanning over three years.
I want to thank you for your time and consideration for this position. I believe that I would be a great fit for the position available at Dome productions.
I can be contacted on the email and phone addresses in the resume (******.***********@*****.*** & 403-***-****). Please let me know if you have any questions and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Sincerely,
Sydney Neustaedter
