Roles & Responsibility:
Objective of my job is to design & develop new product as per the customer requirement without violating the basic fit, form, function of brake design.
Drafting the brake and its child parts for the inspection of the samples before production.
Assisting in testing the components by providing inputs, like number of duty cycles to test the component based on its reliability.
Design the components to achieve lean manufacturing by doing VA/VE.
Developing compact design using DFMEA & CAE result by discussion with cross functional team.
Project Involved:
Project Title : Design of Backplate for Rear Brake System for TML (NEXON EV) Software used : NX 11 & SOLIDWORKS
Description:
Design of backplate for the required brake size by considering the brake torque.
CAD Packaging study has been done with the customer’s mounting bracket and spindle and ensure the assembly level fouling.
Gave a solution for cable hump fouling issue with customer’s mounting area.
Done a stress analysis for the maximum operating torque in SOLIDWORKS for initial level checking before verifying with our cross functional team (CAE TEAM).
Project Title : Design of Shell for Vacuum Booster for TML (NEXON EV) Software used : NX 11
Description:
Design of Shell for the Vacuum Booster since the vacuum sensor is used instead of NRV.
Develop a new shell with a port which can hold the vacuum sensor.
CAD Packaging study has been done with the customer’s mounting area.
Done a VA/VE for the Tie rod to decrease the length from the existing one. Project Title : Create a Parametric model for the disc run out Software used : NX 11
Description:
Create a parametric model to visualize the run out on the rotor disc.
By giving the input data that conquered from our dynamometer testing team. Education Details:
