Project Supervised: QD-SBG at Dukhan Road, Bin Omran at C Ring Road, Hyundai & QBC at Lusail, Daewoo at Orbital, L&T at Al-Sailiya & Al-Wakrah ByPass Road, Boom Constraction at Al Wakrah (from metro station), A Ring road & Al Khufoos. Al Jaber at Muntaza & Madeed.
The project scope of work comprises: Indoor & outdoor lightings (including tunnels), street lighting (high mast inclusive), power distribution (MV & LV Cable laying) & substations (including package s.s) & Feeder pillar installations. RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist in developing company policy statements, yearly HSE plans and targets
• Prepare method statement for new project/contract
• Write up, communicate and enforce safe systems of work
• Develop risk assessment for each activity.
• Write and document safety report/compilation of safety statistics which include man hours, lost time injury frequency etc.
• Carrying out regular site inspections to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented
• Making changes to working practices that are safe and comply with national and international law.
• Ensure the reporting, investigation, analysing and reviewing, recording and establishing learning points of incident, near misses and accident as well as appropriate dissemination of information among staff
• Checking that traffic management plans and diversions have suitable and sufficient signage, barricades and lighting.
• Conduct daily equipment check on ladder, excavator, truck, crane, safety harness etc.
• Conducting toolbox talk and weekly HSE meeting with the workforce.
• Carry out and document HSE inspection/audit
• Conduct HSE induction for new employee & visitors and HSE training for employees
• STARRT briefing with workers prior to starting of daily activities.
• Design and supervise contingency/emergency response procedures
• Ensure good house keeping
