• DUHS IT required a switch to a virtual server environment for the Oracle Hyperion EPM applications in 2014 o Effectively implemented & managed DUHS IT and Sierra-Cedar consultants in the migration & upgrade of Oracle Hyperion EPM 11.1.1.2 to version 11.1.2.3.5 in a virtual server environment o Completed the project 14 days ahead of schedule and under budget by over 20%

• DHTS required validation of a new service-based cost allocations methodology for Actual & Budget in SAP o Designed & Developed an Essbase cube to model Actual & Budget service-based Allocations using statistical data & a sophisticated Calc script to perform the layered Allocations o Saved over 60 FTE hours each period due to ending manual data modeling allowing in-depth analysis & improved reporting

• Duke Primary Care struggled to collect & analyze Physician data for performance and grant funding qualifications o Designed an Essbase database to collect DPC Physician data each Period and made available to management via Hyperion Reports – a more streamlined and efficient process o Eliminated a manual process by a DPC Analyst of data mining, managing a MS Access database & formatting Excel reports. • Upgraded Hyperion System 9 to Oracle Fusion 11.1.1.2 due to support and Oracle purchase of Hyperion o Managed & worked with Oracle and Analytic Vision (AV) consultants throughout the upgrade to Oracle Fusion o Completed the upgrade under budget by 15% & ahead of schedule in addition to learning new software technology for application administration – HFM, EPMA & LCM

• DUHS needed to progress in its ability to report consolidated financials as well analyze related Hospital utilization stats and various Health System statistical data

o Researched & consulted Hyperion Support to learn and educate myself on Hyperion Essbase to design a MDBMS/RDBMS OLAP database

o Moved DUHS Corporate Finance & Entity Finance groups to an OLAP Database & Reporting Solution with BI Analytics sooner than anticipated and saving thousands in consulting expense
