EMPLOYMENT / EXPERIENCE DETAILS –

Current Experience –Manager in Integrated Supply Chain function at Mondelēz India Formerly Cadbury India – Malanpur, Gwalior (Oct’16 to till date) I am responsible for implementing IL6S Program at Site. During my tenure I have been given additional responsibilities of Manufacturing Manager in the absence of Manufacturing manager. Facility is categorized as Big Manufacturing facility equipped with approx. 50,000 Tons of Chocolate manufacturing capacity and precisely 1600 employees including contractual labors. Responsibilities-

• Timely submission of annual business plan for the site which is aligned to the overall business mission and strategy.

• Establish challenging Targets/ KPIs for SQDCSM, more leading KPIs aligned to Business requirement.

• Monthly review of Budget/ Cost lines to ensure Material Conversion Cost (MCC) below monthly/ annual target (Cost per ton of FG).

• Prepare and ensure Daily, Weekly and Monthly plan, which is in alignment with S&OP.

• Regular review to ensure timely closure of abnormalities and equipment/ Line performance.

• Ensure Man & material availability at Shop floor to achieve Zero breakdown/ unplanned stoppage in manufacturing.

• Lead Bi-monthly review of Customer Complaints related to manufacturing, review RCA and ensure closure of potential causes.

• Ensure 100% compliance of Safety & Quality policies at shop floor and keep the site ready for Global Audits both internal & external.

• Work closely with Quality function on work processes like HACCP, Traceability, recipe compliance etc.

• Coordinate with OEMs for Chronic issues and further modification and capacity augmentation opportunities.

• Ensure compliance of Standard process for New Product Development projects to ensure successful Vertical Startups and timely dispatch to market.

• Regular review of productivity projects with Plant leadership to ensure 100% achievement of productivity as per plan.

• IL6S Phase progress as per Master plan, ensuring active working of SGA and Pillar structure to meet Plant Hard gating and improve man and machine capability.

• Overall responsible for designing and implementing Governing mechanism (DMS 1-4, Line councils, Pillar review etc.) to ensure to loss monitoring and controlling at every level of operations.

• Ensure participation of employees across hierarchy in RCA/ GEMBA/ KAIZEN Work processes.

• Member of Factory team deals with union, ensuring better coordination and resolutions of issues.

• Continuous Coaching and training of employees as per skill matrix, focus on Skills which are below 2 ratings as per IL6S step up card qualification requirement.

• As a part of Factory of Future (FoF) & Line of Future (LoF) program, I conduct reviews and updations of FoF/ LoF documents and alignment between internal and external stakeholders and Leadership.

• Utilizing Scorecard, Benchmarking data etc. Creating pipe line for productivity and reach to BIC figures in Conversion Cost as per Zero Loss Journey plan.

• Phase 0 qualification with 81 score.

• 5 Star Waste cost reduction from 4% to 2% through SGAs was of working.

• Efficiency improvement in New 5 Star line from 74% to 81% ensuring < 2% loss due to material related issues (through FI 12 steps at different SGAs of lines).

• Automated CIP time reduction by 2 hours through FI 12 steps methodology.

• Co-Extrusion Waste cost reduction from 8% to 4% through SGAs was of working.

• Lean project on ROL items reduction by 16% from last 2 years. PREVIOUS EMPLOYMENT / EXPERIENCE DETAILS –

1. HOSPIRA, A Pfizer Company – Vishakhapatnam, (Jan’15 to Sept’16) Hospira Pfizer is located near Vishakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh (India). The facility is state of art for Manufacturing of 5 million Vials capacity, working with approx. 1800 employees. Designation- Operational Excellence Manager in Operations. Responsibilities- Prepare Site for Commercial Readiness/ Production

• Support Commissioning, Qualification and Validation (CQV) of FG lines from process to packing

• Daily Batch performance report preparation and identifying and reviews areas of improvement for overall performance improvement to meet commercial demand.

• Daily review of trial batches with key stakeholders and leadership to eliminate the bottleneck in commercial readiness of lines.

• Regular review with maintenance team on PM plan and effectiveness of PM to improve equipment reliability.

• Warehouse design with project and warehouse team for optimum utilization of warehouse space.

• Work with quality and warehouse team for zoning and material compatibility study.

• Work with micro team to establish Lab to make it ready for commercial batches for large scale volumes.

• Batch turnaround time reduction from 35 days to 21 days from material issuance to approved FG receive at FG warehouse by debottlenecking using VSM tool

• Quality complaints reduction in RM/PM materials, reducing line efficiency loss from 12 % to 4 % due to material problems.

2. Hindustan Coca Cola Beverages – Base location Bhopal (Multiple sites handling) (Apr’12 to Jan’15) Handling Multiple locations (Jaipur & Bhopal) for end to end Supply Chain improvement. Designation- Operational Excellence Manager in Supply Chain. Responsibilities-

• Prepare annual budget/costing & volumes with stakeholders and get it approved by Leadership.

• Prepare monthly review deck of all the sites with RCA of Red KPIs and mitigation plan in alignment with all the function heads.

• Preparing weekly / monthly production plan along with planning, production & warehouse team to ensure right volume at right place in right quantity.

• Work closely with maintenance on implementation of KAIZEN to ensure expected benefit through KAIZENs.

• Develop micro / daily production plans to streamline manpower deployment to get productivity through maximum utilization of resources.

• Work with store steam to improve spares availability and avoid any line stoppages due to unavailability.

• Work on changeover optimization and line efficiency with manufacturing team to ensure maximum production hours availability.

• Work with quality team to ensure safe and fresh product into market by eliminating bottleneck in timely release of material in SAP for dispatch.

Key accomplishment / Projects as Lead & Coach -

• Changeover time reduction from 4 hours to 50 minutes.

• Consumables cost reduction by 30 % through GB projects.

• Reduction of turnaround time of trucks by 25% inside plant to increase rate of loading and unloading of trucks, hence generate savings through increase in dispatch per HC by 18%.

• Successfully Commissioned palletizer to ensure Palletized FG dispatch to company owned warehouse, distributors and Modern trade outlets by working along with internal and external stake holders to develop infra support to palletize load.

• Implement 5S in stores and increase store space unitization by 12%.

• Lead Black Belt project on End to End Leakage / breakage FG loss reduction project in warehouse/ DCs

& during transportation with team including manufacturing, quality, logistics and Distributors. 3. Asian Paints India – Rohtak, Haryana India (Feb’11 to Apr’12) Asian Paints Rohtak is largest paint manufacturing site not only in Asian Paints but in India and South Asia. The facility has capacity to produce 5 Lac KL of decorative paints with state of art Automated storage & retrieval system in FG warehouse.

Designation- Assistant Manager Materials

Responsibilities-

• Responsible for maintaining inventory of 1100 tons of powder in warehouse & Silos (34 silos, some of them are as big as 300 Tons)

• Responsible to maintain 103 types of materials including (RM. PN. Emulsion, pigments etc.)

• Ensure daily material requirement for production both in system and charging stations.

• Ensure Zero stoppage on lines because of material unavailability both physical and in system

• Work with Quality, manufacturing and procurement for material related issue and close them without hampering the operations

• Work with transporter, vendors and manpower providers for rate negotiation and rate review regularly for getting cost effective services.

• Conduct regular vendor meeting to share issues and action plan to improve the service further.

• Work with finance for stock accuracy and material usage variance monitoring and controlling.

• Work with Safety team to ensure proper Hazard analysis at warehouse especially emulsion and pigment warehouse.

Key accomplishment / Projects as Lead & Coach -

• Go live Warehouse Management System before stipulated timelines.

• Reduce internal truck turnaround time by 30%.

• Improve unloading rate by 45%.

Nestle India – Rudrapur, Uttrakhand India (June’2007 to Feb’11) Nestle plant at Rudrapur is largest noodles manufacturing site in India. The facility has capacity to produce 350 Tons of Noodles per day with most advance noodle manufacturing technology and biggest manufacturing lines, other products also manufactured like Pasta & Coffee. Designation- Industrial Performance Engineer in Manufacturing Operations Responsibilities-

• Freezing weekly and monthly plan with warehouse and planning team

• BOM updation/ health check to ensure correct ingredients / recipes.

• Creating Production versions and Master recipes as per annual plan and resource availability.

• Capacity mapping and ensure better utilization of machines and equipment.

• Training End user on SAP PP & MM module for shift wise entry of consumption in SAP

5. Moser Baer India – Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh India (Dec’2004 to May’2007) Moser Baer at Greater Noida is 2nd largest CD/DVD manufacturing Plant. The facility has capacity to produce 50 million CDs/DVDs per year and most advance molding and robotic technology at site. Designation- Process Engineer in Manufacturing Operations Responsibilities- Responsible for 10 lines as process engineer

• Ensure Zero unplanned downtime due to process parameters deviations.
