Professional Experience

Research

Conducting research in the field of biochemistry for the purpose of monitoring training load, detecting and preventing overtraining, anemia, nutritional status in male and female athletes.

Estimation of biochemical parameters such as lipid profile, iron profile, enzymes, hormones and Preparation of Biochemical report for national/International level athletes to improve their physical fitness and performance.

Establishing reference values for the specific population of athletes in various disciplines.

Building a database for biochemical and hematological parameters in athletes.

Athlete’s data analysis and management.

Providing information to athletes and coaches in relation to monitoring athlete’s iron deficiency and supplementation.

Supporting physiological performance tests with lactate analyses to measure athletic performance.

Teaching

Teaching Biochemistry for students of six week certificate course in sports coaching.

Teaching Biochemistry for students of Post graduate diploma in sports medicine recognized by Medical Council of India.
