Resume Summary Letter

I have over 20 years of experiences in facility administration, HR, project coordination, planning, budgeting, operations and all associated as training, assessments, project coordination and oversight. My areas of work have included federal and state with some educational, but I have been extensively based in healthcare and commercial, retail and residential also. I have worked with municipal, private and developmental entities and literally been involved with hundreds of projects including facilities management, water, energy and special shoreline applications. Phases have encompassed permitting, community connections, concept, design development, budgeting, design, construction administration and close outs. In prior employment years I have managed industrial equipment firms; sales, parts and service under Sperry Rand-New Holland, Terex GM and Caterpillar and one co-employment responsibility as head of a ten million dollar equipment financing entity. Most of these positions included working with or managing warehousing departments, shipping and quality control personnel as well as leases and other contract and legal issues for properties.

One of my favorite phrases is "they don't respect, what they suspect, you won't inspect". So given responsibilities, I tend to follow up and provide not just leadership, but security for the overriding management goals including profitability and community acceptance.

I sat on the Napa Valley Economic Development Board for six years, serving as a board member, VP and President with goals to assist and enhance business for the community in that region. I have also sat on a planning board and a Veterans Development board along with serving on a few local committees as for public entities as a library expansion. For approximately a year I moonlighted assisting a local Psychologist who specialized in team building for municipalities and within that I built a 30+ staff set of team units who worked within the police, fire, county/city municipalities.

My home in the bay area was severely damaged in a recent earthquake and so this has afforded me the opportunity to make a change in my life and I'd like to fine a well-structured firm that can engage me with challenges and offer me the opportunity to add to their management operations in a goal oriented mode. Compensation and benefits are negotiable considering what a firm feels is a reasonable scope for their requirements and location.

More importantly than what I have done, is what I can do. I can provide leadership, depth of core organization and add to growth and accept responsibility within my authorities.

Experiences & Skills Summary:

* P&L Experienced with internal and external financial matters.

* Experiences in Facilities Management, Code & Permitting, Project Management/Coordination, Industrial, Municipal, Agriculture, Logging, Farming, Healthcare and Development sectors.

* Customer Service oriented. Familiar with use of most Microsoft Office Programs and others including Power Point, Project and Quickbooks.

* Attended Xerox Selling Skills Classes and worked on 2 national dealership committees for GM and Caterpillar.

* Have managed facilities, ware houses, export functions and design and delivery for facilities in sectors as hotels, mines, energy and vineyard applications.

* Wrote the Third Party Review Permitting/Code Program for Hawaii.
