Project success is measured by delivering on time and within budget, and this requires the ability of executives to navigate across wide spectrum of varied skills and personnel. Years of experience in engineering, business development, sales and marketing, business management, strong creative leadership, and a proven ability to influence individuals, internal and external organizations, and clients with a unique ability of navigating through high-profile challenging environments.
17 years of experience in the management of Engineering and construction, business development and growth, financial and technical performance. Lunched, staffed, and managed the construction division with engineering design and support offices in Kuwait, Qatar, and Lebanon. Implemented and executed an efficient supply chain management plan based on three pillars: Procurement, Logistics, and Material Control. As a DoD contractor (GS15) in Kuwait and Iraq, I managed over 50 contracts. Infrastructure, roads, utilities, communications, site development and earth work, man- camp construction, housing, offices, storage facilities, electrical substation, municipal and medical incinerators, hospitals, airport terminals, and shopping facilities. Construction works was in full compliance with international standards: ASTM (American Society of Testing and Materials), ACI (American Concrete Institute), AISC (American Institute of Steel Construction), CRSI (Concrete Reinforcement Industry practice), IEEE (The Institute of Electronic and Electrical Engineering), and IEC (The International Electrotechnical Commission).
Conducting business in a conflict zone has its own challenges which led me to build the division as a vertically integrated business overcoming delays, and loss of materials during transport resulting in cost reduction in millions over the 7 years of operations.
9 Years at AlliedSignal Honeywell International serving in multiple roles starting as a senior application engineer, product development, sales and marketing, and business development. Managed R&D group and new family of electronic components were introduced targeting telecommunication market, computers, servers, UPS, and Welder supplies. Market grew to 100+ million in sales the first 6 years. By 2001 AlliedSignal Honeywell International gained 45% of global market share competing against Toshiba, Siemens, and Amotech. Thank you for your time and consideration
