• Software: Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, HDS, Gohfer, Fekete, Kappa, Pipesim.
• Programming Language: Matlab, Python.
PROJECT EXPERIENCE
Probabilistic Estimation of Underground Reserves and Economic Output Fall 2018
• Performed Monte-Carlo simulation with Matlab to generate nine group parameters for 10,000 realizations to attain OIIP, Reserve, and NPV.
• Compared PDF and CDF plots with three distributions: uniform, triangular, and right-triangular, and found results can be boosted by 43.8% with right-triangular distribution.
• Augmented 440 MMSTB possible reserve estimation with right-triangular distribution. To Construct 3D Reservoir Model for Power-law Non-Newtonian Fluids Fall 2018
• Generated analytical non-Newtonian fluid velocity profile utilizing momentum balance equation under the assumption of 1-D laminar steady-state flow.
• Performed MRST reservoir simulation toolbox utilizing Newton Raphson iteration and derived velocity and pressure profile in a simple numerical way. To Develop Alternative Production Scenarios for Gas Reservoir Spring 2018
• Analyzed four given isochronal tests to plot DE and MBE with Matlab.
• Generated analytical solution to derive wellhead pressure and further minimum bottom-hole pressure for sale ranging from 696 to 745 psi.
• Designed two methods using compressor only, and stimulator followed by the compressor, to evaluate NPV, and concluded the latter one maximized NPV=24.27MM$ and extend reservoir lifetime to 16 years.
WORK EXPERIENCE
LIANHE TECH, SHANGHAI, CHINA
Lab Researcher July 2015 – June 2016
• Collaborated with a team of three to develop pesticide intermediate A-NBE project with avant- garde high-pressure hydrogenation reaction adding Pd catalyst in CH3OH solution and amplified production rate to 86%.
• Coordinated with analytical group colleagues to analyze experimental data via gas and liquid chromatography as well as NMR methods.
• Led meeting to discuss project process with Swiss Corporation Syngenta every week and created possible approaches, such as acidification, to enhance production rate. LEADERSHIP AND AWARDS
• Awarded Korean LOTTE Chemical Corporation Scholarship November 2014
• Co-founded Chemistry Club and motivated more members to attend science lectures and participate in professional projects with professors September 2013
