I manage both medical problems and psychiatric problems of clients with the delegating protocol agreement of a medical physician as well as a psychiatrist.

Provide care to post-acute care patients and residents in longterm care facilities; Post-acute care patients are individuals over 65 years of age, receiving Medicare benefits

Reason for leaving: working mobile unit was high stress level; A/C and heat did not always work; as well as exhaust fumes caused me to have recurrent bronchitis; chose to leave due to health concerns.

07/06 – 04/07 Family Nurse Practitioner

Rural healthcare clinic providing primary care to a large Hispanic migrant farm worker population; treating same type problems as mentioned above.

Reason for leaving: clinic was owned by Sumter Regional Hospital which was destroyed by tornado on March 1, 2007 and clinic could not financially support two full-time midlevel providers.
