PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

Blue Print Consulting Services Group (BCSG) – 6/4/2018 – till date BCSG is a small business company, rapidly growing in Federal projects arena, growing from 20 employees in January to 80+ employees in October of 2018. Responsibilities and achievements:

Manage development of 11 legacy applications rewrite with a team of 14 BCSG employees, 3 FEMA project managers and 12 FEMA employees.

Agile coach FEMA development team to move from waterfall methodology to Agile Support to FEMA COR on applications development roadmap, technology adoption Provide support FEMA supervisors and FEMA project managers on project and program management. Moving towards managing all the 34 BCSG employees at FEMA and additional contracts as acquired.

Built four well balanced teams consisting of BCSG and FEMA employees, FEMA supervisors and FEMA project managers for application development and infrastructure management/ongoing production support.

Managing relationships under strict intra and inter FEMA department communication protocols and 3 days a week federal work from home policy employees. Communicated with the integrated teams, clearly and regularly to ensure alignment of expectations, goals and objectives.

Agencies of Commonwealth of Massachusetts receive several billion dollars in federal grants every year. These grants are managed using homegrown systems or through office tools. Implemented a complex but versatile system to meet 31 agencies unique requirements. In addition to managing a complex contract, managed teams in 3 different geographic locations: Agencies and client facing team at Boston, Development and QA team at REI in Virginia and additional development and QA team in India. There are a few firsts in this project:

Using Salesforce platform native capabilities for a sophisticated grants management system thus reducing the future maintenance

Developing a centralized grants management system to cater to 31 individual agencies, and the Administration & Finance processes and needs

Completing data migration with the first release of the system to production

Rewrote and helped rewrite standard operating procedures adopting the new grants management system

Program Manager, Open Government, IT Dashboard/Gov Dashboard REI Systems, 3/3/2012 – 3/12/2013

Managed various projects under Open Government Practice at REI, including ITDashboard.gov, GovDashboard.gov, Data.gov, and Performance.gov. For the FEMA EADIS Program, was a Work Order (WO) Manager, responsible for overall delivery, quality assurance, customer interface and satisfaction, supported a variety of FEMA program areas. Provided WO life cycle support including – WO proposal development, initiation, transition, execution, and close- out conforming to the Task Order(TO) requirements, generated Program Change Requests (PCRs) to adjust contractual scope, budget, and schedule for the WO. Developed WO life cycle governance documents and executed projects in accordance with CMMI Level 3 requirements; including collection of performance metrics.

Program Manager, Office of the Comptroller and Currency (OCC), Department of Treasury - CATS REI Systems, 6/1/2010 - 2/1/2012

OCC is has very stringent project and contract management requirements. A typical document undergoes four review cycles reviewed by four different groups within OCC. Led one of the OCC's largest IT project, with subcontractors and technology partners, with a budget of $10M per annum and a team of over 45 FTEs. Received accolades for establishing PMO, recruiting almost entire team with specialized BPMS experience and meeting the contract and customer expectations under rigorous monitoring of the OCC contract and program management and delivering the a complex requirements first phase within 3 months.

Project Manager, Web ADD and NDGrants - Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), REI Systems, 3/1/2008 - 5/29/2010 Manage multiple projects on grants management, resource deployment to disaster areas. The resources were over 30 FTEs, with a budget of over $5M to $15M per annum, with responsibility of overall delivery, quality assurance, technical roadmap, customer interface and satisfaction of the system owner and CIO.
