• Participates in the internal and external laboratory audit program to maintain conformance to laboratory accreditations/certifications such as ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, and DENR

• Adheres to the laboratory QA/QC program from proper reagent preparations/standardization, sample receipt handling to analyses proper and finally for the validity of test certificates. Actively participates in inter/intra-laboratory proficiency programs including root-cause analysis PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• Facilitates in establishing the QA/QC program of satellite laboratories and other subsidiaries

• Executes investigations, studies, and statistical analyses to resolve water and wastewater quality issues

• Ensures proper operations of equipment and to report/discuss with immediate head the possible preventive action to maintain the high quality of analytical output. This also includes the internal and external calibration/maintenance of critical equipment

• Performs related analytical tasks thru checking/verifying correctness of data of other co-analyst/ technicians/ encoder/ aide as assigned by immediate unit/section head within standard time

• Maintains sufficiency of supplies/materials all the time by constantly updating stock inventory and raising alert when minimum stock level is reached
