PROJECT:

EXTRACTION OF OIL FROM MORINGA OLEIFERA SEED

The effect of process parameters such as temperature and mixing time on oil yield was studied

Compared the chemical properties (acid value,saponification value and iodine value) of oil obtained with properties of cosmetics and also checked whether the filter cake suitable for water purification

Design include an agitated jacketed vessel and short tub evaporator

From the cost analysis it was found that the design can result in better profit
