I developed a web application that recommends songs to a user based on their current facial expression and emotion. This web application recommends music using an algorithm that was developed to match an emotion’s audio features to that of a track.

I developed this application using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Microsoft face API, Spotify’s API, Firebase and Node.JS

NewsGlob

University of Houston – Clear Lake, Spring 2019.

I developed a News web application to show news from 136 news sources from across the world.

This application allows a user to view/read news from different news sources according to category, country, language. A user can also bookmark a news headline and favourite a news source.

Flexy

University of Houston – Clear Lake, Fall 2018.

I developed a movie web application using client-side components like HTML, CSS and Bootstrap and then improved this application by using server-side controls. This application was done in ASP.NET using C#, entity framework to handle the database and it consumes Youtube’s API to play videos.

This web application categorises movies according to different genre and allows users to view information about each movie, watch trailer videos, add to shopping cart, review, register account, and checkout.

University of Houston – Clear Lake, Fall 2018.

Implemented an IOS application (in swift) to determine tax return for a user’s federal tax income. It can show whether a user is eligible for refund or owes the IRS.

This application was done using swift and firebase was used for user authentication.

Language Translator

Andela Learning Community, spring 2017. (Sponsored by GOOGLE).

Developed an android application that translates basic words from a native language to English language using Java. This application uses pictures as well as sounds to ensure the user understands the words been translated.

Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria. July 2013 – November 2013.

Collected and analyzed flight and passenger data for all airport terminals in Nigeria and used the result from the analyses to prepare monthly report.

Introduced another tool for data analyses to the members of the statistics department and helped to train its members on how it is used. This increased efficiency by 80% and reduced cost of training for the organization.
