Out Based Midwest Regional Sales Manager

Managed an outside sales force for a multi-product line machine tool manufacturer within a ten (10) state territory in the Midwest, directing contracted sales representatives in strategic locations. With a team effort, we provided process solutions using multi-slide, four-slide, eyelet transfer presses, CNC wire bending, mechanical and CNC chucking, and barrel finishing/ tumbling machines. Responsibilities included managing a Profit/Loss on sales revenues of 2-4 million dollars annually.


Assistant Plant Manager/Sales & Quality Engineer

Responsible for the daily production and tool room activities of a 100 plus employee, privately owned, Precision Metal Stamping Company. Additional duties included producing progressive die, multi-slide, four-slide, and assembly estimates, layouts, and manufacturing methods for price quotations; press equipment from 25 thru 400 tons; multi-slides from U.S. Baird #104 thru 6-20 models; four-slides from #00 thru #3 models (both Nilson & U.S. Baird equipment). Achievements: (1) managed the Profit/Loss on sales revenue of 18-20 million dollars annually. (2) Co-Authored the company “Q-1” quality manual to Ford Motor Company. (3) Short-Run division start-up complete with CNC Turret press with laser, press brakes, and soft tooling. (4) Work force retention with less than 1% per year employee turnover rate.

Progressive Die Designer and Estimator

Progressive die design, scrap strip layouts, tool pricing, and outsourcing contracted services for completed component and assembly estimates for high volume beryllium copper and precious metal parts. Processes included reel to reel, loose pieces, commodity contact stampings and light to medium gauge parts. I assisted in capital equipment justification, rate planning, and production methods. I acted as a liaison to sales for technical support.
