New Biopharmaceutical facility in Dunboyne, Co Meath. (€600m)

I was engaged on this fast-track project on a short term contract basis to trouble shoot construction issues and blockers, to resolve and execute solutions. I was overseeing 4 area Construction Managers across the entire facility, to ensure Safety, Quality, Construction, Programme and cost, were achieved.

A brownfield Gas compressor facility for the National Grid (£150m)

Project involved the installation of two new gas turbine compressors and all associated equipment including piping (dia.80mm to 1200mm - all subterranean) 2 no RB211 Gas Turbine compressor units, piling / heavy civils works, deep excavations, heavy lifting, structural steelwork, electrical and instrumentation installation, control centres, Data Centre, LER, packaged hydraulic units, water cooling, oil compression modules, water treatment units, diesel generator package, tanker loading, telecoms, transformer room & site infrastructure.

Laboratory Demolition & Rebuild (£200m)

Construction and Validation work pack coordinator and lead on a laboratory demolition and rebuild, subsequent Fit-out of a new Pearl & Symbicort production line and new laboratory, dispensing, preparation and filling of Turbohalers, Logistics & Warehouse and Utilities buildings.

Coordinated all construction to MC; developed the C & Q Plan with the CQV Teams (IQ/OQ/PQ protocols) including all SHE reviews, Hand over dossier Packs, Scope included process lab equipment, HVAC Clean & Dirty, utilities, special gases (N2, He, Ar,O & H2), compressed air, vacuum, emergency extract and ultra-purified water systems.

Managing installation of a GTAIC project with multinational trades.(Gas Turbine Air Inlet Cooling System) for a CHP Plant, I was responsible for ensuring Design was to specification, Control of all packages, Cost control, Schedule & execution of all project activities; EHS, Reporting, Client Presentations & Commissioning. Project was built to a very high specification (Seismic standards) and included 2,000t of steel structures, and the onsite fabrication of 1,000m3 vessels to Lloyds Standards, heavy civil activities for pipe bridges, pipeline routes, steelwork structures and tanks; MCC Room & controls, Chiller Plant Room Building, Cooling towers and Pumping station.

Large Scale Bulk Pharmaceutical Facility Expansion & Upgrade. Project had been previously started and placed on hold for a period of time. Sometime later, the green light was given to revisit the facility and complete the project construction

My role was to take stock of what had been previously completed, review status and quality, pick up where it was left off, evaluate and programme works to go, expedite materials and packaged equipment and complete the remaining construction activities, then carry out Commissioning, validate and compile the handover dossiers.
