I was engaged on this fast-track project on a short term contract basis to trouble shoot construction issues and blockers, to resolve and execute solutions. I was overseeing 4 area Construction Managers across the entire facility, to ensure Safety, Quality, Construction, Programme and cost, were achieved.

Project involved the installation of two new gas turbine compressors and all associated equipment including piping (dia.80mm to 1200mm - all subterranean) 2 no RB211 Gas Turbine compressor units, piling / heavy civils works, deep excavations, heavy lifting, structural steelwork, electrical and instrumentation installation, control centres, Data Centre, LER, packaged hydraulic units, water cooling, oil compression modules, water treatment units, diesel generator package, tanker loading, telecoms, transformer room & site infrastructure.

Construction and Validation work pack coordinator and lead on a laboratory demolition and rebuild, subsequent Fit-out of a new Pearl & Symbicort production line and new laboratory, dispensing, preparation and filling of Turbohalers, Logistics & Warehouse and Utilities buildings.

My role was to take stock of what had been previously completed, review status and quality, pick up where it was left off, evaluate and programme works to go, expedite materials and packaged equipment and complete the remaining construction activities, then carry out Commissioning, validate and compile the handover dossiers.
