*My duties included data research and criminal intelligence gathering for H.S.I. special agents; presented information via use of MS PowerPoint and a variety of multi media applications.

Also served as an instructor to new administrative employees and agents.

Immigration Officer, Fraud Detection and National Security (F.D.N.S.) /Security Control Officer (S.C.O.) – Homeland Security, Santa Ana, CA 06/2001 to 02/2009

*As the Senior Adjudications Officer, I supervised contractor clerks, junior adjudicators and Immigration Officers (I.O’s) in the performance of their duties. Handled all of the difficult, suspected fraud, and National Security as it pertained to the issuance of immigration benefits.

Land Border Inspector – Department of Justice – Calexico, CA 01/1997 to 06/2000

*Responsibilities included, but not limited to conducting interviews, inspecting and verifying persons requesting admission into the United States; also served on the Port Enforcement Team (PET) and processed hundreds of criminal aliens/U.S. Citizens violating U.S. Immigration and Federal Laws involving Drugs, Weapons, Human Trafficking, etc.…

Served as an administrator, Drill Instructor (two tours), Classified Materials Custodian, Funds Administrator, and Mobilization Operations Readiness Detachment Team Coordinator (MORDT). INSPIRES TQL/TQM Facilitator. Developed and encouraged younger Marines to develop their individual skills in communication, physical fitness, intelligence, family readiness, morale-building, etc.

Education and Certifications: Graduated H.S. in 1978. Enlisted in the U.S. Marines.
