Objective

Present Assignment

Working as Airport Crash Fire fighter and Structural fire with (GMR) at Indira Gandhi International Airport Delhi, India since September 2013 to till date.

Job Responsibilities

Responsible to carry out firefighting and rescue operation during rotary and fixed wing aircraft and building emergencies.

To maintain high level of competence on all Fire Service equipment, practices and procedures by undertaking regular training.

Monthly checking of Fuel stations Fire systems like Foam pourers, monitors, providing training to employees like what to do in case of emergency where is the Assembly point where are the Exits.

Respond to fuel leakage and toxic gas leakage.

Daily basis testing of B.A sets like High pressure test, low pressure test and DSU testing and making the set ready for any emergency scene.

Routine testing of Fire pumps, hydrant posts, monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annually testing of SPRINKLERS in building.

Having experience for operating Turn Table Ladder (TTL) of 32 Meters height used for Rescue operations from high rise buildings.

Daily basis testing of fire vehicles check, and there serviceability, pump output, rescue equipment check and maintenance.

To maintain safety of workers at construction site in Airport, to check there Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), provide them hot work permit, maintain there in and out logs.

Attain Fire and other Emergency Situations, carrying out basic techniques such as laying hose, raising and climbing ladders and fire suppression using a variety of techniques and skills.

Experience in Hydraulic power tools used in Firefighting such as Hydraulic Cutter, Electric Spreader and Cutter, Power Saw and Air Gun

Monitoring of Fire Alarm Control Panel and responding to any Fire or Medical Emergency in the terminal building.

Updating all documents and records, Test and Maintenance of Fire vehicle, fire- fighting equipment and training.

Participate in Fire Drills/Exercises with Airport staff and other Emergency services.

Conducting Fire Prevention & FAFA (first aid fire appliances) training for Airport/Airlines staff.

Ensure the functionality of fire prevention system, Review and Audit of fire installation system in airport.

Setting up triage area at crash or building fire and provide first aid to the casualties.

Control and coordination with shift commander and other agencies while working at fire watch tower.

Participated in periodic Mock Fire Drills, Full Scale Exercises, Table Top Exercises, Anti-Hijack Exercises and other Building Evacuation Drills.

Familiarized with modern Fire Fighting Techniques used in Airports, Passenger Terminal Buildings, and Hangers, Cargo Terminals, Fuel Storage Farms and experience with other Fixed Fire Installations.

Technique of Heavy Vehicle Driving from Ashok Leyland Driving Training School Burari New Delhi India in 2017.
