Technical Services

Support the Project quality Manager / Project Manager in defining the Project Quality Control System and in identifying needed project QC plans and QC procedures in accordance with the Company Quality Management System (QMS)

Ensure, within the project organization, the planning of QC activities aimed at addressing the quality requirements specified by the Client

Ensure the management and the communication of all site QC matters, by holding regular meetings with the Subcontractors/Client and ensure the preparation of the Site QC Reporting

Ensure application and updating of quality control plans for site works carried out by subcontractors and check relevant QC procedures, involving site construction management and Client

Ensure that internal and subcontracted tests, controls and inspections are carried out and documented in accordance with the site Quality Control Plans, mechanical completion included

Check completeness of the inspection/control/test reports for construction activities and relevant compliance to the specified requirements, ensuring that they are recorded, filed and traceable.

Conducting and walkthrough inspection and issue / closure of punch items once complied at site.

Works, coordinating and agreeing the checks by the Technical Departments and Client

Support the Project Quality Manager in conducting external assessments to the Vendors and Subcontractors Quality Control System

Ensure management of nonconformities including checking that the functions responsible keep non-conforming products under control

Promote appropriate actions to prevent or eliminate potential nonconformities and their causes.

Ensure the preparation of the Quality section of the final dossier. In case of subcontracted activities, review and receive the QC section of the dossier

Ensures that inspection/control/test reports are recorded, filed and traceable

QMS Implementation

Developing Quality Plans and Quality Control Procedures in accordance with contract requirements and applicable Codes and Standards.

Devising and implementing process & quality plan & reviewing analytical documents,general test procedures, protocols and their summary reports.

Reviewing and ensuring all contract documents that pertain to the quality aspects of the work to be performed under the contract.

Manage and review ITP's and associated quality documentation.

Testing & Inspection

Review / witness NDT operation such as Radiographic Testing, Ultrasonic Testing – Flaw detection, corrosion mapping, thickness gauging,Penetrant Testing, Magnetic particle testing,

Hardness Testing, Positive Material Identification, Welders Performance Test and Welding Procedure Testing and Heat treatment.

Inspecting work in progress for conformance with the latest approved revisions of Equipment layout,Isometric drawings, P&I Diagram and specifications to verify that finished work meets acceptance criteria.

To witness walk down inspection before hydro test and preparing punch items and updated in the system.

To witness hydro test / pneumatic test according to procedure and project specifications.

Monitoring Sub- contractor shop floor fabrication / welding / painting ensuring that production activities are in accordance with project specification thereby preventing non – conformance in process materials, during cutting, fit-ups, welding, NDT, inspection and testing, painting and erection..

Ensuring Fit-ups are correctly made as per WPS and randomly checking that Internal Release Note Information is correctly filled by the shop foreman for proper tractability information.

Documentations

Maintaining all the appropriate quality records, RFI’s, Punch list, WPS, PQR and WPQ etc...

Raising, Inspecting, Updating, Monitor and supervise the implementation of agreed corrective and preventive actions for of NCR reports

Liaising with Documentation Clerks and coordinating for providing any missing information for the compilation and coordinating Activities with external inspection Agencies.

To maintain quality register for RFI’s for open & closure status.
