SUMMARY OF BACKGROUND

Experienced in safety aspects for Petrochemical Plant, and Oil / Gas Plant, and Fertilizer Plant, and Power Plant, and Civil, High Rise Building this includes research, motivation of all personnel, evaluation and implementation of safety awareness program and all aspects of loss prevention, security and environmental protection. Conduct safety training and safety orientation to newly mobilized personnel.

Exposed on the construction of Balance of Plant (BOP), Furnace in a live Petrochemical and Oil/ Gas, Fertilizer and Power Plant Part of the activity is the erection of column, vessel, furnace modules, steam drums, piping and steel structural erection. Oversee also the safety management of sub-contractors for refractory and insulation works. ACTIVITIES

Supervises and implement the company’s health and environmental program.

Responsible for the implementation of all aspects of accident prevention, loss control program, fire prevention, motor fleet accident prevention, control of equipment and property damages as well as first aid policies and procedures.

Advise management of the following:

a. Ways to improve existing work methods.

b. Suitability of new hired equipment from safety viewpoint. c. Changes on safety requirement.

d. Potential hazards on new contracts before work starts. e. Safety organization and fire prevention plans of the project. f. Work permits if necessary.

g. Suitable security program.

Recommend corrective actions through pro-active job supervision and initiate the stoppage of work if there is an imminent danger and ensure corrective measures by field supervisor prior to the resumption of work.

Carry out site surveys to see to it that only safe work methods are in operation, that health and safety requirements are being observed and that the welfare and first aid facilities are adequate and properly maintained.

Foster within the company the understanding that the prevention of injury and damage control are an integral part of the business and operational efficiency.

Inspect the worksite daily. Report and correct unsafe acts and conditions.

Prepare Job Safety Analysis.

Conduct accident investigation, analyze and formulate recommendations for corrective and prevention actions.

Conduct daily surveys of construction operations to ensure compliance with client/government safety standards and regulations. Identify safety defects and initiate corrective measure by responsible supervision.

Keep up to date with recommended code of safety practices and safety literature. Disseminate applicable information to all levels of work force.
