Responsibilities:

Supply Chain/ Materials Manager: Coordinating the logistics of all aspects of the supply chain which consists of the plan or strategy; the source (of raw materials or services); manufacturing (focused on productivity and efficiency); delivery and logistics; the return system (for defective or unwanted products) with focus on Minimizing shortages & keeping the cost down. Working with cross-functional business teams to develop the best economic strategy for production planning to support customer demand.

As Materials Manager; responsible to manage all aspects of materials flow in addition to maintaining control and accuracy over all goods inventories, including all transactions, procurement, planning, scheduling, cost, warehouse, receiving, and shipping to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled on time. Responsibilities also include, Identifying & developing effective relationships with existing and potential suppliers of goods and services to meet the established cost, quality and delivery targets. Evaluating suppliers based on price, quality and delivery. Selecting reliable sources of supply, development of suppliers, award of purchase orders, and control of quality, price and delivery. Vendor visits, conducting surveys to appraise manufacturing abilities. Maintaining the Approved Supplier List per applicable procedures

Non-conforming product: Performing MRB (Material Review Board), with QA/RA and other functional areas of the company. Support QA/RA in documenting NCMR (Non-Conforming Material Reports) and subsequent corrective actions internally and with suppliers.

Forecasting: Planning and controlling the resources necessary to monitor and manage the supplier base involved in producing customer ready product. Coordinating inter-departmental efforts on an effective forecasting process that meets the needs of all internal customers.

MRP/ERP: In conjunction with Documentation Control, Finance, and QA, assisting with accurate maintenance of DHFs, product structures and BOMs, specifications, procedures, and drawings. Identifying, prioritizing, and document implementation of manufacturing processes into ERP system.
