IT Manager - Clever Devices, Woodbury, NY. (VMware VCP 6.0 Certified) 10/12 - Present The scope of my work for Clever Devices is the managing of the company’s infrastructure personnel and systems. Clever Devices has three Data Centers. The Data centers consists of VMWare ESXI 6.5 hosts running on HP Blades in Blade Centers. Our backend shared storage is utilizing Dell/EMC storage over fiber. The storage is running all on SSD. Our virtual environment consists of lab and production with over 1000 Virtual systems running. Recently we migrated from HP switches to Brocade switches in all data centers and offices across the US. We use SonicWall HA Firewalls and SonicWall SRA and SMA VPN appliances. The Firewalls also allow full time site to site VPN’s for a full mesh. I also use a Kace 1000 Ticketing - asset tracking system to manage my teams work load and maintain the company’s PC’s. I work with he Director of IT with any infrastructure designs and purchases for the company and I have traveled around the country and Canada to setup offices and connectivity. I not only manage the IT team, their workloads but also am hands on with the equipment I mentioned as well as many others as Clever Devices is running state of the art cutting edge systems.
