As part of a four-member team, initiate and facilitate pre-employment background checks for Oracle US candidates, processing between 500-1,000 background checks each month, solely responsible between 200-300 each month (using HireRight as our vendor).
Responsible for expediting education verifications: Degree/attendance verification (calls made to schools/universities to help expedite the degree/attendance verification process).
Review and analyze completed background checks to ensure they are completed per Oracle’s pre-employment guidelines. Work with applicants to resolve any discrepancies and issues.
Establish relationships with managers of all levels and interact effectively with managers, candidates, legal and other internal organizations to drive the process to completion.
Conduct investigations, interviews, analysis and prepare recommendations for course of

action for failed background checks (while working closely with the legal team).
Solely responsible for monthly/quarterly background check system reports, KPIs, metrics and pivot tables (number of background checks, discrepancies, disqualifications and TAT averages).
Audit data in APEX tool: Missing fields, removing duplicates, ensuring data is entered correctly in order to capture accurate numbers when pulling data for monthly/quarterly reports and metrics.
Own HR audit projects with particular emphasis on Immigration/I9 (volume of 38,000 employees to be chased in this particular audit project).
Manage the Re-I9 and background check email accounts (large volume).
Ensure that information and processes for the HR Background Check Organization are fully functional to enable the group to work efficiently and effectively; daily/weekly reports coordination, generating and updating process documents.
