Personal statement
I currently work for CTP Cartons & Labels, formerly Nampak Gravure, a Gravure printing company in South Africa that specialises in Labels and folding cartons in the Tobacco, Fast foods and Label work. As a highly-motivated and results orientated manager within the production, flat bed die cutting, rotary cutting and artwork/pre-press sector, I have a proven record of providing exemplary levels of service to all our clients and suppliers. I am passionate about service and quality excellence and motivating employees to strive for the same level of excellence.
I have operated on various machines
Bobst 820 Lemanic 10 colour press.
Schiavi 10 colour paper machine.
Zerand 6 colour flatbed cutting printing machine
Chambon 6 colour paper printing machine.

Die Cutting
1.I am a qualified flatbed die cutting master printer with 20 plus years’ experience in working on different die cutting machines. (Bobst 820 Lemanic; Zerand; Thrissel; SP 109 offline die cutter; Heidelberg CD 102)
2.Setting up dies and balancing of the dies as well as re-ruling, nicking and checking crease quality.
3.Rotary and in die embossing / de-bossing set up and run in print register.
4.Setting up of stripper plates on cutters as well as setting side lay guides with infeed grippers.
5.Overall quality checks on crease stiffness quality and cut quality.
Foiling
1.Experience on Heidelberg Cylinder hot foiler.
2.Setting up doing full change over and running quality production.
3.Bobst SP 76-BM foiler
