• Serve as the 2nd shift Lead responsible for providing technical support which includes predicting and diagnosing throughput issues to the production areas. Employs a variety of analytical and scientific tools such as AutoCAD to address plant and line layouts, process sequencing/linking, scheduling, and line balancing using lean manufacturing principles

• Work with Quality Engineer to ensure Defective Parts per Million (DPPM) levels remain below 2000. Achieved DPPM reduction from 4500 to 1800 using lean principles

• Responsible for the coordination and transfer of three (3) production lines from the Canada plant to the Athens plant resulting in a 45% savings to the company with zero customer interruption

• Provide support to the Operations Manager by overseeing 300 person value stream team

• Responsible for evaluating labor and material costs to verify the most economical processes are in place which resulted in reduction of 300 hours per week, a 25% improvement in the Answer Value Stream

• Support analysis of customer warranty and plant return components and input data into Incident Reporting database by reviewing historical data for trends and spikes with the aid of key metrics tools such as Parts per Million (PPM), C/1000 (events per 1000), Non-Conformance Ticket (NCT) system and Problem Report Resolution (PRR) system.
