IBM, as BCBSMN’s IT support vendor, is responsible to manage production support services for below applications of BCBSMN:

1.Pre-adjudication claims processing involving applications like Claims front end processing, transaction pre-process management etc.

2.Core adjudication processing which involves support to BCBSMN’s internal claims processing engine called “STAR”.

3.Post adjudication processing involving transaction post-process management etc.

On the whole IBM plays an important role in BCBSMN’s claims processing and adjudication.

Led transformation of data solutions in our enterprise data warehouse for our commercial and Medicare membership to new platform; created team, organized plan; listened and learned; resulted in scope for modeling and design of new warehouse landing framework.

Experience working with IMS DB/DC:

Being an application lead for IBM at BCBSMN, I have developed programs that reads/update/insert/deletes segments of IMS DB. I have also worked on CICS programs that accesses data from IMS database through MQs.
