Key Achievements

Reorganized and led with complete authority per the CIO, Cerner ambulatory project already in progress with 10 Health Care Clinics, 45 Physician Offices and 4 Urgent Care centers. Broward Health as of 2017, has attested to HIMSS Level 6.

Initiated and Planned Cerner Population Health Program across Broward Health’s outpatient and managed care enterprise. Was first of approximately 45 Cerner clients to move forward with Population Health solution.

Designed, developed and implemented PMO templates, methodologies and fully charted the PMO at Broward Health. PMO continues to be successful 11 years later.

Led team of 140+ through a Cerner Millennium upgrade - advanced 20 versions of Cerner Millennium code as well as changed the Millennium OS from VMS to HPUX; achieved all project-related deliverables in 97 days.

Managed numerous large scale/complex IT systems and successfully achieved all milestones, managed risk while ensuring projects were completed on time, within budget and scope

Led Medication Administration implementation CareAdmin (BCMA) affecting 3000 clinicians across 6 acute care hospitals. Oversight of 2.2-million-dollar project budget.

Led CommunityWorks Implementation from Initiation to Closing.
