My job was one I loved and had a passion for, caregiving to the sickly and elderly at the old age home. My duties included washing, bathing, feeding and grooming my patients on a daily basis. I also had the duty of supplying each individual with their chronic medication. I would also take patients for walks and escort them to the doctor or hospital when needed. I did laundry for patients and also saw to it that they were well looked after. I would assist the high sisters in wound dressings or simple medical procedures and have learned a lot in my 9 years of experience. I worked day shifts and late night shifts. I built strong bonds with patients as I cared for them and I was well appreciated and loved at the home. I hope to find another caregiver job where I can put my skills and experience to good use.
About me: I am a friendly, honest hard working woman. I was given an opportunity to prove myself at the old age home and I did just that turning it into a full time job and dedicating 9 years to it. I am very passionate about helping other people and caring for those in need. I enjoy learning new things and challenge myself to do better.
