Customer Relationship and Logistics Management

Sustaining the existing network and managing the supply chain, ensuring timely distribution of the materials.

Coordination with Customers for Logistic Support.

Taking Customers requirements and making arrangement of Transportation and Documents.

Vehicle Management and maintenance

Managing logistics operations involving coordinating with companies for sea/ air/ road transport, C&F agents, CHA's and other external agencies to achieve seamless and cost-effective transport solutions.

Warehouse Management

Coordinating with logistics for supply to warehouses from plant on regular basis.

Handling the stock reconciliation and planning along with distribution and material management.

Streamlining interfaces in supply chain management and ensuring timely delivery and reduction in costs.

Ascertaining material requirements and developing a reliable vendor base for procurement of materials.

Developing sound sourcing strategies to minimize total cost of acquisition of direct materials.

Releasing supply schedules to vendors and follow up to ensure on time deliveries.

Meeting customer orders by implementing / monitoring effective procurement schedules along with finalizing the specifications of the materials required for operations.

Establishing methodologies in sourcing aiming at better savings, reliable and smooth supply.

Export & Import Operations

Managing the export and import operations, keeping compliance with custom laws, tariffs and procedures.

Interacting with regulatory authorities like Excise and Customs Departments for obtaining necessary licenses / sanctions and ensuring compliance with various statutory obligations.

Attending to Advance Licenses, Customs, DEPB, Excise & DGFT litigations with respective Appellate Authorities.

Vendor Development

Management of Transporter Agreements / Rates Negotiation.

Identifying and developing alternate vendor source for localization, reduction in delivery time and improve consistency in quality and competition among vendors.

Desk Expedite suppliers for regular submittal of updated progress reports.

Assessing the performance of the vendors based on various criterions such as quality systems, rejections, quality improvement rate, timely delivery, etc.

System Administration

Overseeing installation of OS and application software, deployment of servers, disk quota management and distributed file systems, network etc. and monitoring the same.

Designing Backup Strategy and ensuring scheduled / unscheduled backups PRI EPABX IP Exchange administration (under Implementation Phase) as per the backup plan.

Installing, configuring and maintaining Operating Systems, Application Software, Anti-Viruses and Hardware; Planning, designing IP addressing and submitting with all classes.

Devising strategies for Disaster Recovery Management, including planning and designing servers for backup and recovery of server / database information.

Project Management

Liaising with Govt. Offices for general work and meeting with customers for new business developments.

Developing and updating logistics management plan based on the approved project phasing and packaging strategy.

Preparing logistics and supporting plans, and overseeing budget requirements for new operation.

Managing activities right from the conceptualization stage to the execution; involving finalization of technical specifications, procurement, scheduling, progress monitoring and manpower planning.

Establishing project review, monitoring and status reporting procedures to accurately report progress of the project to the stakeholders and end user clients.
