My main responsibility was to teach English to foreign students, whilst meeting the curriculum criteria and learning outcomes, and sticking to a book schedule. I had to be in control of the class at all times, and was successful because I implemented the fun factor in class through game-based learning. I was also obliged to do other duties apart from teaching, such as preparing class schedules. Every summer EF runs a questionnaire to its senior employees, and also to its customers. The questionnaire is mainly related to customer and employer satisfaction. Based on the questionnaire's results, each year 100 employees are chosen to attend a two-day seminar. The chosen candidates are from EF school's, worldwide. I was chosen as one of the best employees for 2016, and was part of EF's annual Global Leadership Academy (GLA). The seminar mainly focuses on management and leadership skills.

As a secondary level teacher, I teach students between the age of 10 and 16 years. I strive to maintain a peaceful environment in the classroom, especially between peers, while teaching them the main skills of the language through various activities and exercises. I follow a strict syllabus while preparing the lessons, and am responsible for the preparation of mid-yearly and annual exam papers. I was also a class tutor for one year. ERASMUS During my second year of studying at the University of Malta, I had the chance to go live abroad for some months. I strongly believe that this experience gave me a better view on life, made me less judgmental, and more open-minded. After four months living and studying in Siena, Italy, I am now a more independent woman, with clearer life-goals and a stronger character.
