Operations Superintendent

Manage day-to-day operations of three 12”, 20”, and 24” pipelines for Meg energy and IPL to ensure end-to-end smooth running of facilities, including group and meter stations and loading facility at Cenovus energy. Provide effective support to operations staff in implementation of O&M, ERP, and SOP to meet clients and company expectations. Maximise visual comfort and reduce energy use by operating smart tool on 20” and 24” pipelines and daylighting existing pipelines within ROW, while resolving ground disturbance for all companies and protecting Cathodic for pipelines within operations scope. Conduct maintenance for internal and external UT confirmation (Scheduled digs completed, wrapped inspection area, no visual damage)

Key Achievements:

Led successful completion of integrity digs according to SOPs, collecting data from tool to indicate percentage of wear internally and externally.

Improved working environment and built performance criteria through commissioning of three new stations.

ACCESS PIPELINE, Edmonton / Calgary, Alberta 2011 to 2013

Operations Integration Liaison

Delivered technical operations support and services to project management groups to ensure safe, secure, and efficient execution of related projects. Enhanced efficiency and cost effectiveness of field operations through the development and execution of western operating strategies. Introduced gas injection back into formation (Deadline set by the government to have 50% gas reinjection into formation vs flaring. Completed ahead of schedule.)
