Arcadia 3DES-AES Encryption project is the project which aims to change the password encryption logic from 3DES algorithm to AES algorithm. IBM Websphere commerce database uses 3DES algorithm by default for encryption. However Arcadia felt it is important to migrate to more efficient and stronger standard AES algorithm. This project involved changes in merchant key and update encrypted data using the utilities provided by IBM.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Arcadia Desktop Monty is the project which customizes the current IBM WCS FEP4 FP9 CF3 based web-front application to support the responsive web design of already developed Monty UI for the mobile website. Monty UI layer is currently interfacing through scrAPI which is a HTML based scraping toolkit that helps in extracting data from HTML content. The current design faced challenges while there was an upgrade in front end UI and also it did not expose 100% of WCS functionality. Hence it is felt pertinent to remove the scrAPI layer between WCS and Monty. Arcadia Desktop Monty was designed to provide the front-end data through JSON and make use of JavaScript to parse the content and transmit it to the WCS layer.
