Duties included:
Implement and maintain all scheduled orders for company, approximately 1500 orders generated daily. Responsible for information and accuracy of those orders.
Primary customer contact for all current or new scheduled services, including many large companies such as US Bank, Wells Fargo, RW Baird, Chase, ACL Laboratories, and approximately 200 others.
Review the approximately 150 routes and drivers to ensure compliance with company and customer policies.
Analyze new work to find best placement in current route structure, and restructure/add routes when customer needs change. Bank customers required numerous large-scale changes, at least twice a year, sometimes requiring 40-50 routes being reworked for a single project. Once routing was decided, all effected runs had to be updated, drivers notified, keys or codes distributed, and new runs monitored.
Locate and identify inefficiencies in current work and implement new routing to eliminate them. There were numerous small items changed over the years to tweak routes that I put into place.
Help plan and implement coverages for driver time off.
Assist Dispatch in dealing with daily issues that affect routes, contacting customers and drivers to assure smooth daily operation.
Perform field audits of drivers to ensure compliance with company and customer policy.
As Alternate Security Coordinator for TSA, maintain employee training to stay current with all TSA required compliance, and assure all TSA policies were enforced.
Researching and booking of airline air bills for use with domestic air shipping.
