OBJECTIVE:

Being a licensed Nutritionist Dietitian I would like to learn and master all aspects of this profession, Clinical Nutrition, Food Service, Therapeutic Nutrition, Community Nutrition, and Sports Nutrition. Now a days nutrition is not just something that people under therapeutic diet needs, it has become a goal for living for many. Handling all Qatar Foundation Schools (Qatar Academy Doha, Qatar Academy Awsaj, Qatar Academy Sidra, Qatar Academy Msheireb, Qatar Academy Al Khor and Qatar Leadership Academy)

Constructs a one month cycle menu for school packed meals and lunch buffet as per the Qatar Foundation scope and Ministry of Public Health Standards. This cycle menu involves Arabic, Asian and Continental food choices. Once approved by Qatar Foundation this cycle menu will run for one school year.

Works closely with the Chefs in standardizing recipes and makes sure recipes are following Qatar Foundation scope.

Makes sure ingredients in the recipes are as per the Qatar Foundation scope and Ministry of Public Health Standards.

Computes the Nutrition Facts for the Lunch Buffet food items as per FDA format and Ministry of Public Health Standards.

Responsible for all children with allergy across all schools. Plans the allergen menu for the children with special needs.

Checks the allergen menu every day and makes the allergen production sheet for kitchen production.

Makes the prep chart for next day production in line with the running approved cycle menu and recent student count update.

Responsible for the dispatch of the allergen food in each school. Makes sure all students with special needs are going to receive the right food.

Visits the different schools for checking and works closely with the supervisor on each site to make sure they are well informed regarding allergen box preparation and allergen menu checking.

Weekly checks the update for the student count for the different schools and forwards a hard copy to the onsite accountant to be use for the sales invoice.

Act as Coordinator. Coordinates Field Trip Menu, Field Trip Schedule, Cancellations and special request from Qatar Foundation to the supervisors in charge of each sites.

Sends emails for menu alterations, requests, incident reports, confirmations and anything that has something to do with the school operation.

Prepare and analyze wastage reports both for packed meals and lunch buffet. Submits graphical representation of wastage analysis to Qatar Foundation and to Integral Food Services for both parties to have an overview on how the menu is being accepted by the students.

During school break (Summer Break, Spring Break, Winter Break), conduct seminars and trainings to service crews and supervisors. Topics are: Menu Familiarization, Food Standard and Menu Requirement, Managing Allergens, My Plate, Food Portioning and many more.

Conducts nutrition class and cooking class to students during Summer Camp and Winter Camps.

Conducts Nutrition counseling together with the Qatar Foundation Nutritionist whenever required during events.

Creates and constructs posters and other visual aids involving nutrition like Food Portioning Guide Poster.

Café Anaaz (contractor for Aster Hospital patient meals and Bistro)

Worked closely with the Culinary Director in planning a one month Hospital Cycle Menu (for both regular and modified diets) involving Arabic, Indian and Continental Food.

Computes for the Nutrition Facts for the Bistro as per the Ministry of Public Health standards (Food and Beverage Guidelines for Healthcare Facilities).
