Moonlight Auto (P) Limited, Automotive Component Manufacturer company is a 100 crores comapny and supplying Clutch and Brake Pedals, Jacks, Sheet component parts to OEMs like Maruti Udyog, Honda Car, Honda Scooter, General Motors, Ford India, Mahindra & Mahindra- all Plants, Nissan, ITL, PTL, Eicher, force motor etc.
Responsible for the Management of department’s activities and ensuring the proper working of all departments.
Increase effectiveness by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining managers.

Develops strategic plan by studying technological and financial opportunities.

To identify and explore the opportunities for new system requirements in concerned departments. Responsible for planning, execution, installation and implementation of systems in concerned departments
Responsible Improvement in existing systems.
Cost reduction in concerned departments by deploying systems & techniques.

Responsible for maintenance of 5S in concerned departments
Responsible for Implement the TS/16949, ISO system in concerned departments, New IATF & OHSAS is being implemented in the company
New Vendor Selection
Analyzing/Auditing various facts like manufacturing capacity of the supplier, Quality
System certification held, infrastructure installed, product line experience, existing
Customers, past history and financial position of the company etc. Decision to
Appoint/Reject a vendor on the basis of data collection and Scoring/grading.
Devise and implement processes to support new product endeavor
Support New product development as per requirement from NPD, for upcoming
/launch of New models, ECNs in existing parts.
Feasibility study, rate negotiations & RFQs.
go-ahead for samples and collection of samples for approval from Quality
Monitoring and ensuring regular Supplies at right time in the company
Review & monitor the supplier's performance, rejections and share monthly ratings
Monitor & to direct suppliers to deliver materials on time to avoid line stoppage.
Develop and implement process improvement plan to expedite return of defective
Material to suppliers and increasing inventory accuracy.
Supplier meetings to understand their issues/grievance and resolve them
Plan & Review the supplier Quality & Process audits by Quality team.
Order & Supply Management
Monitor for the execution of MRP (Material Requirement Planning) in the system and
Ensured to distribute monthly schedules to suppliers at right time by concerned team.
Authorizing POs, stock levels, Gate Passes and other documents.
Review of daily BOP parts shortages and make parts available for production.
Monitor the activities like daily vendor follow-up/chased by purchase team
provide Support, if needed.
Monitoring of stocks exceeding Maximum levels and get controlled them
Review of cost impact on purchase prices due fluctuation in RM Prices & others costs,
And ensured to release amended PO’s
Review of volume increases, cost reduced due to Automation of purchased parts and
Negotiate with suppliers to reduce prices
Convenience/Force suppliers for Value Engineering & Automation at their end.
Reduction of PPM levels
Review the current PPM level of all suppliers and efforts to reduce against given targets, and Re-assigning new targets to suppliers after achieving of existing targets.
Feedback from team and discuss the progress report with Management
Ensure the Material receiving in store at right time and as per given schedules only.
Verify and approve MRNs made at gate Entry.
Check and Approve extra qty sent by suppliers, if can be used in coming month
Daily material received report given by store executive
Verify timely material issue from store to shop floor as per production plan
Monitoring real-time entry into system with barcode system as defined
Approve for extra qty, if required by production department
Stock Levels Monitoring
Monitoring and ensuring Min. & Max. Levels of all parts in the Store
Managing Inventory by defining & monitoring various stock levels (Min. Level,
Max Level, Re-order level, Danger level etc).
Monitor the parts exceeding max. levels and hold dispatches from suppliers
Monitoring the stocks are maintained customer-wise, model-wise, category-wise
in Racks/Bins by store department
Inventory Control & Reduce Wastages
Monitor & Control the wastages or material extra issued against production schedule
Monitor the issue V/s actual consumption of BOP parts used for dispatches.
Reduce Inventory cost by controlling the stock of high value items.
Monitor & review packing standards of all suppliers and change, if required
Forecast & Monitor the stock for parts going obsolete due to model discontinue
by customer or any other reason and ensure cut of date. Ensured to get obsoletion cost
recovery from customer.
Move the dead stocks from store to dead stock store.
Monitoring the work efficiency of store staff and reduce extra man hours
Increases effectiveness by selecting, orienting, training, coaching & counseling
Maintain discipline & work culture in department
Maintain 5S in store
Continue improvement to have always updated systems and techniques.
Responsible for Managing and ensuring the proper working of all softwares running
in the Company.
Responsible for Managing & Proper Functioning of all Customer’s portals- Like Maruti
Vendor Extranet, M-setu for M&M, Covisint- Ford & General Motor etc.
Responsible for Development & Implementation of new programs as per the Requirement
