Acting as a Site Engineer for the main contractor Fujita Corporation, I am responsible for the delivery of buildings including associated civil works and landscaping. The project is a major QAR 3bn maintenance depot for the newly constructed Doha Metro Project undertaken by Qatar Rail. The scope of work for the depot comprises the following:

Buildings

23 buildings including Stabling Hall, Maintenance Buildings, Refueling Facilities, Bulk Power Supply, Chilled Water Plant, Civil and Track Maintenance Building and Administration Building.

RC and Steel framed structures including roofing, cladding, internal RC works, block work, platform installation, epoxy flooring and all internal architectural finishes

Civil Works

Duct banks and Manholes for wet and dry utilities including LV, MV, signaling, communications, DC, fire protection, sewerage, potable water, irrigation and district cooling.

Track works

15km of track slab construction together with the installation of track and third rail installation.

MEP

Installation of all MEP for buildings including district cooling, power and chilled water.

Managing subcontractors installing LV, DC, MV and communications for signaling.

External Works

External landscaping, fence installation, slope shaping and grading and civil works.
