Media Relations and Agency communication: Was the point of contact between Spin Master and our existing PR Agency. Liaised with influencers and large focus media to amplify 43 brands. Updated internal and public website information to maintain correct com- munication and dialog to the organization and the public pertaining to brand changes, press releases, awards and sales reports. Led inter- views and news photography sessions and managed gifting and promotional sample sends to media and influential network partners. SAP Sample ordering & Invoice management: Used SAP to create purchase orders, purchase requisites and process all PR invoices. Additionally, I am educated in sample forecasting and sample sends via SAP, sending hundreds of orders out to media and corporate partners to push priority brands.
Event Coordination and budget monitoring: Lead annually, several events to promote and enhance corporate aims in marketing and branding. I was the lead organizer of Spin Master’s annual charitable ‘Caring & Sharing Gala’ that donates thousands of toys to children in need during the holidays. Lead for Tradeshows and industry related events with product knowledge and company profile at forefront of speech. Newswire and Press release execution: worked with CNW to push all press releases through the wire and worked with exec- utives/shareholders and licensees for all press release creation, edits and aprovals. Departmental lead for digital asset management. Media Relations: point of contact for media requests and interests to feature Spin Master product & business successes within various magazines and organizations such as Bloomberg, CNN, Canadian Business, local news & morning shows, Globe & Mail, New York Times and other Toy industry outlets.
Event Project Management:
Planned and organized large media captured events in and around North America to amplify product awareness. Organized a global Guinness World Records attempt successfully and executed all contractually binding agreements with vendors and media. Worked closely with industry relevant organizations to curate and attend events that supported out initiatives. I often stood as the spoke person for interviews and media interested articles and broadcasts. Worked with the social team to strategically amplify brand initiatives while carefully considering their goals and intentions.

Daily receptionist and front desk management: answering all calls and transfers, mail receiver, Outlook calendar master tracker, meeting scheduler. Managed boardroom schedules, client concerns and assisted the CEO’s with personal requests as needed. Event Committee: Chair for the employee events committee, assistant for large scale corporate and charitable networking events. Donation Procurement: first in command for all external philanthropic endeavors. Organize toy donations for various community events, exter- nal fundraisers and charitable events. Daily receptionist and Cashier: Answered all calls and booked appropriate appointments, checked mail and social media out- puts, opened and closed salon & spa, managed personal cash float and cash registers as well as receipts and Bank deposits. Managerial duties: Maintained a smooth daily flow of work ensured organization and cleanliness every morning and evening, present for all hiring or terminations, managed promotions within company and communicated statistics to all three locations within Toronto. Main- tained and created all social networks (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram) ensuring daily activity and maximum amplification. Client based responsi- bilities: consistently raised the bar with retail sales initiatives, ensure monthly retail commissions were met if not excelled. Monitored monthly statistics of retail sales and trained/
promoted to staff new educational programs to ensure knowledge on product and brands were up to date. Helped clients with concerns or questions pertaining to our line of work.
Planning: worked in a team creating and setting up for some of Toronto’s large scale events, festivals and weddings. Monitored Social output and created and disseminated interest within the planning community Creative: built scenes, back drops, props and chandeliers for such events like the Much Music Video Awards, The Nation Ballet of Canada Fundraiser, Toronto International Film Festival and various large scale wedding in and around Toronto including shows for K’Naan, Bon Jovi, Wu-Tang Clan, Selena Gomez and Lady Gaga.
