Wikipedia Race Game February 2019

This is a Python program that lists the connected pages between two Wikipedia articles, and informs the user of the shortest linked path between them.

The analysis of the path is conducted using a Breadth First Search algorithm, which checks the parent and child links on a page relative to the source and target articles the game is currently utilizing.

Liberto/RetroArch Content Launcher September 2018 - Present

A Java based tool that can both organize and quick launch a user’s content library for the open source RetroArch emulation software. The content settings are launched via the command line and saved as individual shortcuts specified by the user.

The RetroArch launch configurations are easily integrated with popular Windows media clients, such as the Steam platform. This broadens the appeal of the launcher by a large factor for those who desire an easy solution for playing their media from a single location.

Contact list/Phone book holder December 2017 - March 2018

Designed as a simple to use desktop application for those familiar with mobile touch-based layouts. The interface was designed utilizing JavaFx as the core.

Built as a solo effort to polish my ability on completing project goals independently and practice adhering to Javadoc documentation guidelines.

Chinese to English Dictionary/Culture Guide January 2017 - May 2017

Lead software engineer of a five-person group and reviewed the PHP codebase submitted by other members. This cut down on the unnecessary segments of the project by 30% while also improving code readability.

Implemented a SQL database used to hold user accounts for site logins. These accounts were used to implement a miniature forum for visitors to provide site feedback or discuss their learning experiences.

Prioritized development with modern HTML5 elements combined with hand drawn paint.Net GUI assets. These set pieces were later stylized using JavaScript and CSS to attract viewers and draw attention.
