As you will note, I have worked as a certified court reporter for over 25 years and my transcription skills are exemplary as a result of my training and experience.

I was offered to rejoin the team the following year which I initially accepted but ultimately had to decline due to a broken arm. I came back the following year and have been there since.

My position involved collecting fines, issuing receipts, administering oaths, preparing a variety of legal documents and acting as a Notary Public. Providing essential support to the judiciary, lawyers and the general public before, during and after court proceedings was also an integral component of this role. A high standard of professionalism was required as I was an active participant in courtroom management by calling court to order, swearing in witnesses, maintaining the order and dignity of the courtroom, cataloguing and securing court exhibits and creating an accurate record of court proceedings. Punctuality, timeliness of deadlines, attention to detail, professionalism and the ability to conduct oneself appropriately was mandatory.
