Managed global teams responsible for the design, implementation and support of IBM WebSphere MQ servers, VMware infrastructure, managed services, data center operations and other enterprise IT solutions. • Provided hands on support for hedge fund and private equity clients. Built middleware team from ground up and managed a global onshore/offshore team of 4 specialists responsible for the administration of IBM MQ series middleware servers that provided application message bus for the largest independent fund administrator. The analysis led to cost savings of over $1 million annually. Generated a RISK tracker and DR strategies for applications and provided mitigating solutions to reduce and eliminate risks.

• Founding member responsible for creating managed services, business focused on providing IaaS (Infra as a Service), PaaS (Platform as a Service), co-location and business continuity seating. This new business resulted in over $2 million of additional annual revenue. Led project planning meetings, technical consultation services and project plans for clients.

• Acted as a technical lead for research, design and implementation of all new technology initiatives to standardize infrastructure across multiple divisions which resulted in cost savings of over $5 million dollars. Standardized and migrated the storage infrastructure from EMC to NetApp saving over $1 million annually.

• Acted as a technical lead for the design and relocation of a large datacenter from colocation to GlobeOp owned facility. Migrated all servers and applications to the new site with minimal business impact including adherence to stringent BCP SLA’s. The relocation entailed moving over 1,000 compute, storage, and network devices for an annual savings of $3 million.

• Acted as a technical lead for creating solutions to migrate applications to standardized IT infrastructure for all new mergers and acquisitions that provided over $5 million in cost savings by consolidating technology footprint. Responsible for evaluation and purchase of all new infrastructure hardware and software requirements. Partnered with multiple vendors to design solutions for various client requirements.
