PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

ATLAS ENERGY, LP 2007 – 2019

Payroll Manager

Hired as P/T Payroll Accountant and quickly progressed to Payroll Manager to ensure on-time delivery payroll services. Scope included implementing new payroll, time and attendance, managing benefits, reconcile the annual year-end W-2 process and creating policy and procedures. Managed 3 full time direct reports and 1 temp. Reported to: VP of Human Resources.

Spearheaded the automation of ADP G/L Interface with the Accounting BOLO System leading the conversion process from ADP PCPW to ADP Workforce Now and the ADP EZ-Labor Time and Attendance system.

Led rollout of payroll implementation for over 10 Acquisitions including setting up new states, transferring SUTA rates, and transferring employee data.

Steered bi-weekly multi-state and multi-jurisdiction payrolls for approximately 1,500 employees on four payroll entities in ADP Workforce Now.

Ensured compliance with all Federal and State Laws for Payroll Taxes, Withholdings, and Reporting in 18 states.

Averted risk ensured 100% accuracy audited all payroll deductions, taxation calculations, and supplemental payments

Partnered with Senior Management to prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly payroll reports Accounting, Internal Audit and IT.

Prepare and lead all Workers Compensation Payroll Audits.

Work with outside vendors such as Merrill Lynch, ADP, and Aires Relocation to ensure data integrity.

Streamlined payroll processes, which included creating payroll verification processes and checklists to ensure error free payrolls.

Establish Policies and Procedures for Overtime, Holiday, Call Out Hours, and PTO.

Manage and prepare special payrolls including bonuses, commissions, stock distributions, and fringe benefits.

Report income for vested units or options for the LTIP and payment of distributions. Ensure all taxes are properly calculated and paid to the proper taxing authorities.
