Responsible for performing routine testing of biological specimens using automated and manual testing methods. Primarily work in the Immunohematology or Red Cell Laboratory though cross-trained in the infectious disease laboratory which primarily tests using nucleic acid testing (NAT). Well versed in GMP as well as specific requirements for NAT. Monitors and responds to errors on automated instruments as well as has a close eye during manual testing to observe problems that would otherwise get overlooked.
