Project Description:

Grand Central is a Diagnostic platform that leverages several existing tools and services to give customer support a single tool to troubleshoot, apply remote fixes, update account information, and to file complaints or trouble tickets. Grand Central is split into two different versions, one for Care and typically PC based. The other is the Retail version, which is designed to be used on a tablet, phone or PC.

Grand Central a troubleshooting application that is currently used by internal customer care and retail reps for troubleshooting customer’s network issues. As other teams and applications begin to integrate with Grand Central, internal reps will have more visibility into the subscriber and areas of the network in order to better troubleshoot.

Project Description:

XM – Personal Lines is a Policy Administration System, maintained by Agents, Underwriters and Underwriter Assistants will create the insurance quotes for Home Owners, Auto, Renters, Builders, CA Condo, Dwelling Fire, Farmowners & Umbrella for the different clients in different states. Agent can create Quote, cancel and make changes on policy. Underwriter can make change, renew, cancel, accept or reject and work on policies. There are state specific rules related to the quotes and all the business specific rules will apply for different states and system will validate automatically based on the specific rules. If any rule violations, quotes will submit to Underwriter for approvals. Based on UW approvals Policy can be submitted by Underwriters. Referrals are notifications triggered by the agent to underwriter at satisfying specific criteria. Referrals are purely selection based. XM System will calculate the Premium amounts based on the driver violations for Auto.

The InSight Suite system enables the tracking and publishing business functions within Amgen regulatory affairs.
