• Silicon Potentials are very important in constructing new materials Si systems and obtaining the quantities of interests from the system.

• Modeled cubic system of diamond structure of Silicon is simulated using the tersoff and stillinger weber potentials useful for fitting the potentials in Silicon Systems.

• Performed the simulations with a range of parameters for both the potentials and analyzing the data by rugged plots using python applications.

• Determined the reason for the unusual failure of 3 samples of Ti-1023 during low cycle fatigue test which affects the mechanical strength of the composite alloy.

• Prepared the samples using Multiprep Parallel polisher and Ultrasonic cleaning for Metallographic characterization and identified the two phases of Titanium from the microstructures obtained from Optical microscope using phase diagrams

• Confirmed the presence of beta flecks region in the sample which have larger β grains compared to surrounding matrix using the microstructures obtained from optical microscope.

• Examined the fracture surface of tested specimens using fractographs obtained from the secondary electron imaging mode of scanning electron microscope (SEM) used at 20 kV and a spot size of 3.

• Observed Faceted type of fracture, secondary cracks along the grain boundaries in the beta flecks region responsible for the early failure of samples.

• Improved the yield (Quality) of the extrusion process of Zirconium Billets by analyzing the thermal profile of Zirconium billet, a new approach using thermal imaging camera calculating the temperature using emissivity from infrared radiation emitted by the billet.

• Determined the optimum soaking time of Zirconium Billets by calculating the drop-in temperature from the infrared radiation obtained from thermal images.

• Constructed a model using 2-level 3-factors factorial design fitting the empirical equation using regression analysis depending on day of travel, Type of Airline carrier, the booking time in advance and cost of the ticket as the response variable.

• Observed an average of 55% increase in prices from Weekday to Weekend for all the Airlines And booking three weeks in Advance on an average gets 60% of profit.

Fabrication of nanoscale devices on Silicon wafer Aug 2017 to Dec 2017

• Fabricated diodes and comb structures and MEMS on Silicon wafer and characterized using suitable techniques.

• Designed the devices using K-layout software and Performed Thermal oxidation, photolithography, etching

(wet and dry), Sputtering and characterization on the 2-inch Silicon wafer.

Joule-Thomson Inversion Curve for Oxygen using Monte-Carlo Simulations Oct 2017

• JTIC of oxygen is useful in determining the design of throttling operations by simulating 500 molecules of Oxygen in a cubical box with periodic boundary conditions and equilibration of the system is ensured for accurate results.

• Used Compressibility Factor to determine the inversion points for the JTIC curve.

Determination of Glass Transition Temperature of PMMA polymer using Molecular Dynamics Sep 2017

• Glass transition temperature is important for determining the properties of polymer at service temperature

• Observed a decreasing trend in transition temperatures with reduction in the cooling rate with 1.17% reduction from 20K/Ns to 10K/Ns and 12.69% reduction from 10K/Ns to 5K/Ns.
