CBRE acquired the Global Workplace Solutions division from Johnson Controls. Applications that were used in Johnson Controls by the GWS business were identified and over a period, as described in a TSA (Transfer Support Agreement), would be moved to CBRE data centers.

The purpose of this project is to design and implement a technology solution which replicates the functionality of SIR as owned by Johnson Controls. BIS 6 suite is the integral EDI application used in the above-mentioned middleware infrastructure. Developing new maps and updating existing maps, setting up new Trading partner relationships, facilitating connectivity between clients and internal systems and creating Reports to reconcile daily/monthly transactions back and forth between the business partners are some of the key aspects of this project.
